This is the current rotational speed, in RPM, that UCS Manager most recently read from a specific fan in a rack-mount server. It's the single most direct real-time signal an admin has for whether that particular fan is spinning at a healthy rate for the server's current thermal load, and a sudden drop toward zero on one fan while its siblings stay normal is a leading indicator of an imminent fan failure. A typical healthy reading might be around 6000 RPM under moderate load, climbing higher if the chassis ramps cooling in response to rising temperatures.
