This flag marks whether a specific rack-unit capability-provider record has been superseded by a newer catalog entry and should no longer be used to resolve capabilities for matching hardware. UCS Manager keeps deprecated records around for backward compatibility with older catalog packages, so an admin seeing this set to true on the record matching their installed servers knows to look for a replacement entry (or update the capability catalog) rather than trust the old limits. A record for an early-revision server board might flip to deprecated(true) once a corrected capability entry ships in a later catalog package.
