Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:PsuStats:ambientTempMax managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentPsuStatsAmbientTempMax?

This INTEGER is the highest ambient intake-air temperature recorded at this PSU during the current stats-collection interval. This peak matters because a brief cooling interruption, like a CRAC unit cycling, that only shows up in ambientTempMax and not the average, can still be the root cause an admin needs to find when a PSU's fan-speed logs show a spike. An ambientTempMax of 31 degrees against a normal 25 would flag a brief warm spell worth investigating.
