This INTEGER is the average AC input current measured for this PSU over the current stats-collection interval. Averaging smooths out momentary spikes so an admin trending this PSU's typical draw over time can distinguish a real sustained load increase from a brief transient, which matters when deciding whether this PSU or its chassis is approaching a capacity limit. Where the instantaneous current reading bounces between 3 and 5, the averaged value over the interval might settle around 4.
