Description: Cisco UCS equipment:NvmeDef:policyOwner managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentNvmeDefPolicyOwner?
This enumerated value reports the policyOwner for the hardware-definition record describing the physical NVMe drive-bay and PCI-slot layout a specific server model ships with — which subsystem actually controls its configuration state (for example local, pending-policy, or policy). Knowing the policyOwner tells an admin whether changing an NVMe drive-bay hardware definition's behavior means editing this object directly or instead means editing the UCS Manager policy that owns it, since a direct edit against a policy-owned object gets silently overwritten on the next resolution pass. A policyOwner of 'policy' here would mean the shipped hardware-definition catalog rather than a local admin edit is authoritative, so a direct local edit would not survive the next policy resolution.
