This Gauge32 reports the current speed, in RPM, of this Fabric Interconnect fan as UCS Manager polls it right now. A speed reading of zero — or one wildly out of range for this fan's rated RPM — while its drivePercentage is still nonzero is a strong, specific signal of a failed fan rather than a thermal-policy change. A value like 7200 RPM would be a normal running speed for this fan; a sudden drop to 0 RPM while drivePercentage stays commanded high points to a stalled or dead fan.
