Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:NetworkElementFanStats:drivePercentage managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentNetworkElementFanStatsDrivePercentage?

This Gauge32 reports the current drivePercentage — the percentage of maximum PWM drive UCS Manager is right now commanding this Fabric Interconnect fan to run at. A drivePercentage climbing toward 100% under otherwise-normal ambient conditions is an early warning that the switch's thermal control loop is compensating for something — a blocked filter, a failed neighboring fan, or rising intake temperature — before any hard fault fires. A steady-state value around 35% is typical at idle load; seeing the same fan pinned at 100% is worth investigating even before any fault has actually triggered.
