Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS equipment:MgmtCapProvider:deprecated managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentMgmtCapProviderDeprecated?
This TruthValue flag marks whether the capability-catalog entry recording what one specific chassis or server management controller — a CMC or CIMC — is capable of has been superseded by a newer catalog entry and should no longer be used to qualify new hardware. When a capability-catalog update ships a replacement management-controller capability rule, Cisco marks the old entry deprecated rather than deleting it outright, so an admin auditing why a previously-accepted management-controller now shows a compatibility warning should check this flag before assuming a bug. A value of true on this management-controller entry right after upgrading the infrastructure firmware bundle would explain why a part that worked last month is now flagged unsupported.
