OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.40.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CucsEquipmentLedLocatorState
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS equipment:LocatorLed:adminState managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentLocatorLedAdminState?
This read-only object mirrors the `adminState` property of the blue beacon/locator LED an admin can switch on remotely to physically find a specific chassis, blade, or rack unit in a data center inside Cisco UCS Manager's internal information model, exposed here as a CucsEquipmentLedLocatorState-typed value for this locator LED. The adminState reports the state an admin has actually requested for this locator LED (on or off), which is distinct from the LED's operState and can briefly disagree with it while the command is still propagating. Right after clicking 'Turn On Locator LED' for the locator LED on blade 3 in chassis 2, adminState flips to 'on' immediately while operState may take a moment to catch up once the firmware confirms the change.
