Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:LocalDiskDef:numberOfBlocks managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentLocalDiskDefNumberOfBlocks?

This read-only object mirrors the `numberOfBlocks` property of a catalog definition describing the physical and performance specifications of a supported drive model inside Cisco UCS Manager's internal information model, exposed here as a large unsigned integer for this drive-model definition. The numberOfBlocks field reports the total number of logical blocks the drive model described by this drive-model definition contains, which combined with blockSize determines its raw capacity. Multiplying numberOfBlocks by blockSize for the catalog entry for a 1.2TB 10K-RPM SAS drive is exactly how UCS Manager computes and cross-checks the human-readable `capacity` string for the same drive model.
