Type: TruthValue

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:LocalDiskControllerDef:hotPlugSupported managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentLocalDiskControllerDefHotPlugSupported?

This read-only object mirrors the `hotPlugSupported` property of a catalog definition describing which storage-management features a particular disk-controller type supports inside Cisco UCS Manager's internal information model, exposed here as a boolean true/false flag for this disk-controller type definition. This TruthValue states whether drives attached to the controller type described by this disk-controller type definition can be safely swapped while the server is powered on. If the definition for a MegaRAID-based SAS controller reports hotPlugSupported=false, an admin must power down the server before replacing a failed drive rather than pulling it live.
