Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EQUIPMENT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EQUIPMENT-MIB::cucsEquipmentIOExpanderDn
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.210.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CucsManagedObjectDn
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS equipment:IOExpander:dn managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentIOExpanderDn?
This read-only object mirrors the `dn` property of a physical I/O expander module -- an add-on board that gives a blade or compute node extra mezzanine/PCIe ports inside Cisco UCS Manager's internal information model, exposed here as a CucsManagedObjectDn-typed value for this I/O expander instance. The dn is the full hierarchical path string (distinguished name) UCS Manager assigns to this I/O expander instance, and it is what an admin uses to map an SNMP-walked row of this table back to the exact physical slot or workflow it describes. For the IOE plugged into slot 2 of a UCS X210c compute node, the dn might read something like sys/chassis-2/blade-3/board/ioexpander-1, letting a monitoring script join this row against the exact chassis and blade it belongs to.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.210.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EQUIPMENT-MIB::cucsEquipmentIOExpanderDn
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.210.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EQUIPMENT-MIB::cucsEquipmentIOExpanderDn.1
