Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:IOExpander:assetTag managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentIOExpanderAssetTag?

This read-only object mirrors the `assetTag` property of a physical I/O expander module -- an add-on board that gives a blade or compute node extra mezzanine/PCIe ports inside Cisco UCS Manager's internal information model, exposed here as a text string for this I/O expander instance. The assetTag field carries a customer-assigned asset-tracking string that an admin can write into UCS Manager for this I/O expander instance, rather than anything read from the hardware itself. A data center team might set this to something like 'DC3-RACK14-U22' for the IOE plugged into slot 2 of a UCS X210c compute node so the SNMP row lines up with their own asset-management spreadsheet.
