Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CucsEquipmentSensorThresholdStatus

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:IOCard:processorThermalState managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentIOCardProcessorThermalState?

This is the threshold status specifically for the IOM's onboard processor temperature sensor, distinct from the broader thermal field that rolls up all temperature sensors on the card. Because the processor is usually the hottest and most failure-sensitive component on an IOM, a warning isolated to this field, with ambient and DIMM temps normal, points specifically at that chip rather than general chassis airflow. For example, processorThermalState reporting major while ambientTemp on the same card stays normal would point to a failing onboard fan or heatsink rather than a room-cooling problem.
