What is cucsEquipmentIOCardModel?
This is the vendor PID string identifying exactly which IOM hardware model is installed, such as UCS-IOM-2208XP or UCS-IOM-2408. It matters operationally because IOM model determines port count, uplink speed, and firmware compatibility; mixing IOM generations across a chassis pair, or running firmware not certified for that exact model, is a common source of chassis-level issues. For example, seeing UCS-IOM-2204XP in one slot and UCS-IOM-2208XP in the other of the same chassis would flag an unsupported mixed-IOM configuration.
