What is cucsEquipmentIOCardDiscovery?
This shows where the IOM is in UCS Manager's discovery process, the sequence of inventory and connectivity checks a card goes through when first cabled to a fabric interconnect or after a reboot. Admins watch this during chassis installs or IOM replacements because a card stuck mid-discovery rather than reaching complete usually means a cabling, licensing, or firmware-compatibility problem is blocking it from coming fully online. For example, an IOM stuck in an in-progress discovery state for more than a few minutes after a new chassis is racked typically indicates a missing or miswired fabric uplink.
