Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:GemCapProvider:mgmtPlaneVer managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentGemCapProviderMgmtPlaneVer?

This read-only SnmpAdminString field is the 'mgmtPlaneVer' property of the 'GemCapProvider' managed object in Cisco UCS Manager's equipment-inventory schema specifying the minimum UCS Manager software version required to recognize this capability entry. This is the floor UCS Manager version needed to understand this specific hardware capability record, so a UCS domain running older management software may simply not recognize a newer component even if the component itself is physically installed and functional. A MgmtPlaneVer of '4.2(1)' means a UCS domain still running 4.1 software would not be able to interpret this particular capability entry even after inserting the matching hardware.
