This read-only Gauge32 field is the 'kernelMemTotal' property of the 'FexSystemStatsHist' managed object in Cisco UCS Manager's equipment-inventory schema recording the total kernel memory on the FEX's onboard OS at the moment this historical sample was archived. Since total memory is normally fixed for a given FEX model and firmware, this archived value mainly serves to confirm what denominator was in effect when interpreting the paired historical free-memory figure. An archived KernelMemTotal of 256MB confirms the FEX was still on its original firmware image at the time this sample was taken, before a later upgrade to a version with more onboard memory.
