This stores one archived reading of the ambient air temperature sensed near the fan module at the time this history row was recorded, in degrees Celsius. It matters to an admin trying to correlate a fan-speed change with the surrounding air temperature over time, for example confirming that fans ramped up because inlet air actually got warmer rather than because of a sensor fault. A history row showing 34 followed a few intervals later by 41 would corroborate a fan speed increase logged around the same time.
