Description: Cisco UCS equipment:EmbeddedStorageDef:deviceType managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentEmbeddedStorageDefDeviceType?

This reports the underlying storage technology, for example flash/SSD versus traditional media, of this embedded device, per the EmbeddedStorageDef deviceType property. This is relevant when an admin needs to know the wear and endurance characteristics of a server's built-in boot storage, since flash-based embedded storage has different write-endurance considerations than other technologies. A deviceType of SSD/flash on this definition is a reminder to avoid heavy continuous write workloads on that specific embedded boot device to preserve its endurance.
