This is a generation counter that increments each time the underlying catalog data for one capability-catalog provider entry scoped to one specific chassis is reloaded or updated. UCS Manager and monitoring tools use this counter to detect that a chassis capability provider entry's catalog data has changed since the last poll, without having to diff every field to notice the update. The counter might read '4' after the catalog package containing this entry has been reloaded four times since the fabric interconnect last rebooted.
