Description: Cisco UCS equipment:AdaptorConnDef:policyLevel managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentAdaptorConnDefPolicyLevel?
This indicates how many levels up the UCS organizational hierarchy the policy governing this object was actually defined at, versus where it's applied. This comes from Cisco's equipment capability catalog, not live telemetry — it tells UCS Manager how a specific mezzanine/VIC card model's port physically maps to an IOM or motherboard adaptor endpoint, which is what lets UCS Manager validate a hardware configuration before it's even installed. A value of 0 means the policy is defined locally at the object's own org; a higher number means it was inherited from a parent org several levels up, which matters when an admin is trying to find where a setting actually came from.
