This specifies what UCS Manager should do when it detects a hardware change on a server already under management, for example automatically re-acknowledging and re-discovering the server versus requiring explicit admin acknowledgment first. An admin sets this to a user-acknowledgment mode in change-controlled environments so a swapped component, like a replaced DIMM, cannot silently trigger a service profile re-association without a human signing off first. A value of 'auto-acknowledge' would let UCSM handle routine hardware changes without manual intervention instead.
