This holds the administrator-set state for how the chassis's IOM uplinks are aggregated to the fabric interconnects under this policy, i.e. whether link aggregation across the IOM's uplink ports is enabled or disabled. An admin cares because disabling aggregation forces each IOM uplink to be treated as an independent path instead of a bonded group, changing the failover and bandwidth-sharing behavior for every chassis the policy is applied to. Setting this to 'enabled' lets a 4-link IOM connection act as one aggregated 40Gbps path instead of four separate 10Gbps links.
