Type: CucsEquipmentSensorThresholdStatus

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS compute:BoardController:thermal managed object property

What is cucsComputeBoardControllerThermal?

This CucsEquipmentSensorThresholdStatus-typed property reports whether the board controller's thermal sensor is reading within normal bounds, one of the standard per-component health axes, alongside Perf and Voltage, UCS Manager tracks for this hardware element. An admin investigating unexplained instability on a compute node would check this specific object to rule out, or confirm, that the board controller itself is running hot, as opposed to a CPU or memory thermal event reported elsewhere in the server's object tree. A threshold-exceeded reading here localizes a thermal problem specifically to the board management hardware rather than the compute silicon.
