cseFlowFastAgingTime

Module: CISCO-SWITCH-ENGINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-SWITCH-ENGINE-MIB::cseFlowFastAgingTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.97.1.2.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The administrative fast aging time for the established flow entries, that have less number of packets than the value set in the cseFlowFastAgePktThreshold, switched within this time. Setting to value of 0 turns off fast aging.

The default value for this object is implementation specific. If the cseFlowFastAgingTime is not configured to the appropriate value, it will be adjusted to the closest value. The corresponding operational object, taken effect on the device, is cseFlowOperFastAgingTime.

What is cseFlowFastAgingTime?

This read-write setting configures the fast aging time applied to low-traffic established flows (those under the fast-age packet threshold), allowing such flows to be aged out quickly; setting it to 0 disables fast aging.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.97.1.2.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-SWITCH-ENGINE-MIB::cseFlowFastAgingTime

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.97.1.2.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-SWITCH-ENGINE-MIB::cseFlowFastAgingTime.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.97.1.2.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cseFlowFastAgingTime.1
