What is ciscoLS1010SubModuleOperStatus?
This object reports the operational status of a submodule (a daughter card or port-level component mounted on a parent module) within the LS1010 ATM switch, using the same OperStatus enumeration as the module-level object. An admin can use this finer-grained status to isolate a fault to a specific submodule even when the parent module itself still reports up, narrowing a hardware troubleshooting effort. For example, a parent module reporting up(1) alongside one submodule reporting down(2) tells the admin to replace or reseat just that daughter card rather than the whole module.
