It matters because this table lets an admin see the full roster of available timing candidates, not just the winner, essential for confirming redundancy actually exists, such as verifying a backup GPS or BITS reference is properly configured even if not currently active. If this table only ever shows a single entry, the admin knows there is no clock-source redundancy configured at all, a single point of failure for timing on this device.
