An admin cares because the daily far-end ES total reveals whether this device's transmit path has a chronic, ongoing problem from the remote end's perspective, not just an isolated 15-minute blip. For example, a persistently elevated daily Far-End ES count with clean near-end ES for the same day narrows the chronic issue to this device's transmit side specifically.
