Description: This variable is used to setup the severity of RED alarm. So when LOS/LOF alarm is detected the card will send the alarm with appropriate severity status. A major alarm will cause audible notification and the MAJOR ALARM LED will be turned ON. A minor alarm will just turn on the MINOR ALARM LED. LOF detection is not applicable for CESM-8T3/E3.
What is dsx3RedSeverity?
Read-write setting that configures the alarm severity (e.g. major/minor) assigned to a RED (LOS/LOF) alarm condition on the DS3 line, controlling notifications and LED indications.
