What is cLApWipsEnable?

Enables or disables WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Protection System) mode on an access point. In WIPS mode, the AP monitors for rogue APs and security threats rather than serving clients. An operator enables this on select APs to create a dedicated security monitoring layer in a large wireless network.
