Description:

This object represents number of packets that are discarded because they exceed the medium's maximum packet size.

What is cLApEthernetIfGiants?

This OID counts how many packets were dropped because they were larger than the network's maximum packet size. It tracks malformed or oversized data arrivals. A wireless access point operator would monitor this counter to detect if network devices are sending packets that exceed acceptable size limits.
