Description: The list of VSANs that are part of this IVR Service Group specified by civrTopologyIvrSrvGrpName.
Each octet within the value of this object specifies a set of eight VSANs, with the first octet specifying VSANs 2048 through 2054, the second octet specifying VSANs 2055 through 2062, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered VSAN, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered VSAN. Thus, each VSAN, is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. The corresponding VSAN is contained in this IVR Service Group if and only if that bit has a value of '1'. If this object has a value which is less than 256 bytes long, then the VSANs which are not represented are not considered to be in the list.
What is civrTopologyIvrSrvGrpVsan4k?
This FcList bitmap enumerates which VSANs numbered 2048 and above belong to a given IVR Service Group, with each octet's bits covering eight consecutive VSAN IDs starting at 2048. A SAN admin cares because IVR service groups define which VSANs can route Fibre Channel traffic to one another, and this extended object is what's needed once a fabric's VSAN IDs run past the legacy 1..1023 range. For example, the highest-order bit of the first octet set to 1 means VSAN 2048 is a member of this service group, while VSAN 2050 would be indicated by a different bit further along.
