cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLowEnable

Module: CISCO-IETF-DHCP-SERVER-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-IETF-DHCP-SERVER-EXT-MIB::cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLowEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.122.1.6.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies if the DHCP module should generate 'cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLow' notifications.

If value of this object is 'true', then the notification is generated when the number of available IPv4 addresses for a particular subnet has fallen below the value of cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddrLowThreshold for that subnet.

If it is 'false', the notification is not generated.

What is cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLowEnable?

This read-write setting controls whether the DHCP server sends a notification when a subnet's pool of available IPv4 addresses drops below a low-water-mark threshold, helping alert administrators to impending address exhaustion.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.122.1.6.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IETF-DHCP-SERVER-EXT-MIB::cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLowEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.122.1.6.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IETF-DHCP-SERVER-EXT-MIB::cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLowEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.122.1.6.4.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cDhcpv4ServerSubnetFreeAddressLowEnable.1
