cfcFeatureSetLastAction

Module: CISCO-FEATURE-CONTROL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-FEATURE-CONTROL-MIB::cfcFeatureSetLastAction

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.377.1.1.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This object indicates the last action triggered for the feature set. If no action has been triggered for the feature set since the last reboot of the sytem, then retrieving the value of this object via SNMP will return 'noOp'.

What is cfcFeatureSetLastAction?

This reports the last action triggered against a named feature set, reading noOp if nothing has been triggered since the device's last reboot -- the feature-set-level equivalent of cfcFeatureCtrlLastAction. Checking this alongside cfcFeatureSetLastActionResult tells an admin both what was last requested for an entire functional area, like fcoe, and whether that broad, potentially disruptive request actually succeeded. A feature set showing disable here combined with an actionFailed result would tell an admin an attempt to shut off that entire functional area did not actually take effect, so any traffic depending on it is presumably still unaffected.
