cfcFeatureCtrlLastFailureReason2
Module: CISCO-FEATURE-CONTROL-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-FEATURE-CONTROL-MIB::cfcFeatureCtrlLastFailureReason2
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.377.1.1.2.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SnmpAdminString
Access: read-only
Description: The failure reason description for the failed execution of last action triggered for the feature. If the corresponding instance of 'cfcFeatureCtrlLastActionResult2' has the value 'actionFailed', then this object contains the reason as to why it failed. Otherwise, the value of this object is the zero-length string.
What is cfcFeatureCtrlLastFailureReason2?
This carries the failure reason text for the last triggered action on a specific feature instance under the 2 series, populated only when that instance's cfcFeatureCtrlLastActionResult2 reports actionFailed, and otherwise a zero-length string. Having this scoped per-instance means an admin managing several instances of the same feature type can pinpoint exactly which specific instance failed and why, rather than getting one ambiguous failure reason covering the whole feature type. If enabling FEX instance 102 fails due to a cabling issue while instance 101 enables fine, this field on instance 102's row would carry that specific failure detail without affecting or referencing instance 101 at all.
