Description: The total number of Stuck-In-Active (SIA) query packets sent to all EIGRP neighbors formed on all interfaces whose IP addresses fall under networks configured for the EIGRP AS.

What is cEigrpSiaQueriesSent?

This counter tracks the total number of Stuck-In-Active query packets sent to all neighbors in this autonomous system, a second-round query issued when a neighbor hasn't replied to the original query within the expected time. An SIA query being sent at all is already a warning sign of a struggling neighbor relationship, so a nonzero and rising count here points an admin toward a specific problematic neighbor or path that's failing to respond to normal queries in time, risking that neighbor's route or the adjacency itself being torn down. If this counter increments repeatedly toward the same neighbor, an admin would investigate that neighbor specifically for CPU overload or a connectivity problem preventing timely query replies, since repeated SIA conditions toward one peer are rarely a coincidence.
