Description: The maximum number of permitted CPEs connecting to the modem.
The value -1 means to use the default value of maximum hosts per modem in the CMTS cable interface which the modem connects to and the value is defined in cdxCmtsCmDefaultMaxCpes in the cdxCmtsMacExtTable.
The value 0 means no maximum limit.
Setting the value will not affect the already connected CPEs to the modem.
What is cdxCmtsCmMaxCpeNumber?
Sets the maximum number of customer premises equipment (CPE) devices allowed to connect through a given cable modem, with -1 meaning use the CMTS interface's default maximum.
