dmOptimize

Module: CISCO-DM-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-DM-MIB::dmOptimize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.27

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Each 'bit' within the value of an object of this type, specifies a configured optimization type.

The value of each 'bit' (set/reset) represents whether an optimization type is configured or not.

Bit position 0, represents whether the fast-restart optimization is enabled.

Bit position 1, represents whether the selective-restart optimization is enabled.

Bit position 2, represents whether the scale-restart optimization is enabled.

If the length of an object of this type is less than 8 bytes, then the optimization types which are not represented are not considered to be part of this list, i.e., effectively, the string is extended to be of length 8 bytes by appending bytes containing x'00'. Note that this means that the zero length string represents the 'list is empty' value.

What is dmOptimize?

A read-write bitmask indicating which fabric optimization types (such as fast-restart) are currently configured on the switch, with each bit position enabling or disabling a specific optimization.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.27
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-DM-MIB::dmOptimize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.27.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-DM-MIB::dmOptimize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.27.1 s <value>
