dmAutoReconfigure

Module: CISCO-DM-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-DM-MIB::dmAutoReconfigure

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object determines how the switch responds to certain error conditions.

The condition that can cause these errors is merging of two disjoint fabrics that have overlapping Domain ID list.

If value of this object is 'true', the switch will send a RCF (ReConfigureFabric) to rebuild the Fabric.

If 'false' the switch will isolate the E_ports on which the errors happened.

What is dmAutoReconfigure?

Determines how the switch responds when disjoint fabrics with overlapping Domain ID lists merge, such as automatically triggering reconfiguration to resolve the conflict.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-DM-MIB::dmAutoReconfigure

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-DM-MIB::dmAutoReconfigure.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.302.1.1.1.1.4.1 s <value>
