Module: CISCO-CRYPTO-ACCELERATOR-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CRYPTO-ACCELERATOR-MIB::ccaMaxCryptoThroughput

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.467.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-only

Description: The maximum crypto throughput that may be supported by the managed device with the current number of active crypto accelerators.

If this value cannot be determined, the agent should return a value of 0.

What is ccaMaxCryptoThroughput?

This object reports the maximum crypto throughput the device can sustain given its currently active accelerator modules, returning 0 if this can't be determined. Because the value reflects the current number of active accelerators rather than the platform maximum, an admin monitoring this alongside ccaGlobalNumActiveAccelerators can tell whether a drop in this figure is due to a module failing rather than a platform limitation. If this figure drops from 2000 to 1000 megabits per second after an accelerator goes non-operational, that halved figure directly quantifies the capacity lost from that single module failure.
