This counter tracks the total octets output by all crypto accelerators in the device combined, accumulated since the last reboot. Comparing this against ccaGlobalInOctets gives an admin a rough sense of overhead introduced by the crypto operations, such as IPsec padding and headers, and a large persistent gap between the two could point to unexpected encapsulation overhead. If this counter is consistently running noticeably higher than ccaGlobalInOctets, that overhead is consistent with the additional headers IPsec tunnel mode adds to each packet.
