What is ccpCdmaExtPcfSoPppAuthMaxRetransFailures?

This is a running count, per PCF, Packet Control Function, of PPP connection attempts that failed specifically at the authentication stage after exhausting the maximum number of retransmissions. A rising count here points specifically at an authentication-layer problem, bad credentials, a AAA server issue, or a PPP negotiation mismatch, rather than a radio or transport problem, since the failures are isolated to the auth retransmission stage rather than earlier connection setup. If this counter jumps by several hundred within an hour on one PCF, an admin would check that PCF's AAA/RADIUS connectivity or shared-secret configuration rather than looking at RF conditions.
