Module: CISCO-ATM-SWITCH-FR-IWF-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-ATM-SWITCH-FR-IWF-MIB::casfFrLmiUserN391

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.112.1.3.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Number of status enquiry intervals that pass before issuance of a full status enquiry mes- sage.

What is casfFrLmiUserN391?

This read-write value sets the number of status-enquiry intervals that pass before the port issues a full status enquiry listing every PVC's state, rather than a lighter periodic keepalive. Setting it very high delays how quickly a newly added or removed PVC's status gets reflected to the far end, while setting it very low, such as 1, makes every enquiry a full status message, using more signaling bandwidth than necessary. With N391 set to 6 and a T391 of 10 seconds, a full status enquiry listing all PVCs goes out roughly once a minute instead of every 10 seconds.
