casfConfIfCledSpvcDeModeDef

Module: CISCO-ATM-SWITCH-FR-IWF-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-ATM-SWITCH-FR-IWF-MIB::casfConfIfCledSpvcDeModeDef

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.112.1.3.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the default mapping from Congestion Loss Priority (CLP) bit on the ATM side to Discard Eligibility (DE) bit on the Frame Relay side. This is used when receiving a soft PVC Setup using the standard encoding of the called Soft PVC IE. Otherwise a proprietary encoding provides this information.

What is casfConfIfCledSpvcDeModeDef?

This read-write object sets the default Congestion-Loss-Priority-to-Discard-Eligibility mapping used when this interface receives a soft PVC setup that uses the standard, ATM-Forum encoding of the Called Soft PVC IE, since that standard encoding may not itself carry the mapping information. It's the fallback specifically for remotely-initiated, standards-encoded soft VCs, distinct from the per-VC mapping in casfVcEndptDeMode. A soft PVC arriving from a non-Cisco switch using the standard IE format would fall back to this configured default for CLP-to-DE mapping.
