Description: If there are insufficient network resources for establishing all transport channels, this field specifies the priority of the transport channel.

What is circuitSetupPriority?

This read-only field reports the priority level used to decide which transport channel gets established first when there aren't enough network resources to set up every requested circuit simultaneously, functioning as an admission/setup arbitration value distinct from circuitClassOfService's ongoing traffic priority. When ring bandwidth is momentarily insufficient during a mass provisioning event or after a topology change, circuits with a higher setup priority get established ahead of lower-priority ones competing for the same limited resources. For example, if two circuits are both trying to establish over a ring segment that can only support one right now, the one with the higher circuitSetupPriority value wins and gets provisioned first.
