Description: When a chassis running several circuits has to be moved to a new location with a new different IpAddress, then all the associated circuits has to be properly modified with the new IpAddress. This object will specify the old-IpAddress. This process is almost transparent to the user, but, he will notice traffic loss due to the circuits being brought down and up.

What is circuitNewIpAddrToSwap?

This field holds the new IP address that a relocated chassis's circuits should be updated to reference, working in tandem with circuitOldIpAddrToSwap to complete the address swap for every circuit that terminated on the old address (the source description reuses the same text for both objects, but the object's name identifies its role as the new address). This process is described as 'almost transparent,' but the same underlying traffic loss applies here as circuits are brought down and re-established with the new address. Continuing the earlier example, setting this to 10.2.1.5 alongside circuitOldIpAddrToSwap set to 10.1.1.5 is what actually completes the migration of all affected circuits to the chassis's new address.
