What is cigDhcpClientsRebindLeaseTime?

This reports the point, calculated as 87.5 percent of the granted lease duration, the standard DHCP T2 timer, at which, if the earlier renewal attempt with the original server failed, the client broadens its renewal attempt to any DHCP server via broadcast rather than just the original one. Seeing renewal activity consistently pushing all the way to this rebind point, rather than succeeding earlier at the renew point, tells an admin the original DHCP server specifically isn't responding to unicast renewal requests, even though some DHCP server on the network eventually does respond to the broadcast rebind. For example, an interface repeatedly reaching its rebind time before getting a lease extension suggests the primary DHCP server is unreachable or overloaded, while a backup server is still answering broadcast requests.
