Description: Operational status of this protection group.

What is cienaCesInputPGOperationalStatus?

This reports the live operating state of this protection group's clock-recovery process: locked means it's successfully tracking a valid external reference, holdover means it lost that reference and is coasting on its own internal oscillator's memory of the last known-good frequency, freerun means it never had, or has fully lost track of, any external reference, and acquiringlock means it's actively trying to re-synchronize. An admin's priority reaction differs sharply by value: locked needs no action, holdover means the clock is still accurate for now but degrading and needs the reference restored soon, and freerun means the clock has likely drifted out of spec already. For example, seeing this move from locked to holdover right after a fiber cut confirms the group correctly detected the loss and is running on its internal oscillator's stored frequency in the meantime.
