Description: The persistent tunnel retry interval. This is the interval between the first failure of a persistent tunnel and the first attempt to re-establish the tunnel. This cannot be changed while the administrative status is enabled or the operational status is up.

What is cienaCesRsvpteRetryInterval?

This is the number of seconds RSVP-TE waits after a persistent tunnel's first failure before attempting to re-establish it. Because this object explicitly cannot be changed while RSVP-TE is administratively enabled or operationally up, an admin tuning tunnel recovery timing has to plan a maintenance window that includes disabling RSVP-TE globally, which affects every tunnel on the device, not just the one they're trying to tune. For example, an admin wanting to shorten recovery time from the default toward the minimum of 3 seconds would need to first disable RSVP-TE device-wide, make the change, then re-enable it, briefly dropping all RSVP-TE tunnels on that device.
